ART NOUVEAU LUCKY CHARMS
This project reimagines Lucky Charms cereal through the sophisticated lens of the Art Nouveau movement, merging modern playfulness with the ornate elegance of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Inspired by the enchanting illustrations and intricate hand-lettering of artist Fritz Erler, the redesign embraces the era’s hallmark features: flowing lines, natural motifs, and detailed patterns. These elements come together to create a cereal box that balances the whimsical essence of Lucky Charms with the lush, organic style of Art Nouveau, presenting
a familiar product in an entirely new and visually immersive way.

NOUVEAU
NOSTALGIA
The design concept draws on nostalgia while inviting a fresh look at the cereal, capturing the sense of magic that has always defined Lucky Charms while honoring the aesthetic values of Art Nouveau. Each aspect of the design—from the swirling patterns reminiscent of natural forms to the muted, earthy color palette—echoes the Art Nouveau movement’s celebration of beauty in everyday objects. This reinterpretation provides a richer, more engaging experience for consumers, as the packaging invites them to explore and interact with the intricate visual story it tells.

COMPELLING
EXPERIENCE
By merging iconic Art Nouveau elements with the beloved Lucky Charms brand, this project aims to bridge the gap between consumer products and art. The resulting design not only pays homage to a pivotal artistic movement but also redefines the cereal’s presence within popular culture, transforming it into a piece of art that appeals to both new audiences and long-time fans. This blend of history and modern branding infuses the everyday with artistic meaning, turning a simple breakfast item into a unique, visually compelling experience.
