GENESIS

As my final High-Impact project for my Master of Arts in Creative Business Leadership, I created Genesis. Genesis is a nonprofit performing arts initiative designed to expand public access to theater and reconnect communities with the roots of live performance. Through partnerships with major theatrical venues and cultural institutions across the United States, Genesis brings high-quality, immersive theatrical experiences to audiences who may not traditionally see themselves represented in or welcomed by professional theater spaces.

 

Rather than positioning theater as academic or instructional, Genesis frames it as a shared cultural heritage that belongs to everyone. By making professional performance more accessible, engaging, and relevant, Genesis seeks to broaden participation in the performing arts and cultivate a more diverse and inclusive theater-going public.
