In addition to my professional design background, I had the distinct honor of serving as a Duchess on behalf of The Order of the Alamo during Fiesta San Antonio, a historic cultural celebration that defines the city’s identity. Merging my creative strategy with this deep-rooted tradition, I collaborated with acclaimed illustrator Mellisa Richardson to develop a comprehensive visual identity for my court’s presence. Together, we designed a diverse range of official merchandise and event graphics, ensuring every touchpoint—from commemorative pins to large-scale event signage—reflected a cohesive and elevated narrative. This experience allowed me to orchestrate a high-profile multimedia project from concept to execution, balancing the intricate requirements of a traditional heritage organization with a modern, lifestyle-driven design sensibility.
